Updates on my website
There has been a lot going on for me health wise over the last year and I'm afraid my energy hasn't been high enough to keep substack updated. One of the factors which makes it difficult is the accessibility issues I have with both the website and the app, creating this single post has taken me almost an hour. But I wanted to quickly remind you that I'm still creating poetry and paintings, still sharing on my website as you can see in the image above. Please do take a look at http://LLMCalling.com
In the summer I will thrilled to win first place at the national LEVEL art awards in the UK. My painting “Invisible Faces” was painted as a way of processing my time in ICU earlier this year with Sepsis. The award is highly prestigious and will lead to a solo art exhibition next year.
Over the last couple of months I have had the opportunity to share my creativity, faith and passion for inclusion at conferences in the UK and internationally including…
"Do We Belong? Where are Disabled People allowed to be in Art, Faith and Society?” at the online conference Fieldmoot 2025
“Weaving Hope” at Can These Bones Live? Conference in London
In the background I am in the final editing stage of 3 books of poetry, illustrated by my artwork, so watch out for updates about those.
Thank you for following me, every day I post on my Instagram so please do follow me there.
Emma
